Detailed Course Outline:

This course continues with a discussion of essential physiology concepts relevant for understanding the athlete's development. The athlete's energy supply is essential to their performance. We examine where this energy comes from and how it is used. Strength, power, anaerobic capacity, coordination and flexibility are also discussed. It is strongly recommended to complete Physiological Development Through the Athlete's Lifespan before enrolling in this course.
